Located by the AEON Mall Mean Chey in Phnom Penh, the outlet features a digital check-in system and menu.
Cambodia is the 10th country in the Asia Pacific region in which Starbucks has launched a drive-thru store, following launches in Australia, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.
World Coffee Portal forecasts the Cambodian branded coffee shop market reaching 550 outlets by 2025.
The Phnom Penh drive-thru store announcement follows Starbucks opening its first drive-thru outlet in Colombia earlier this month.
In November 2022, Starbucks and Coffee Concepts Limited also launched the first Starbucks store in Laos.
